The Jewish Confederation of Ukraine is outraged by the attack of shameless vandals on the Kherson synagogue.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that this crime occurred as usual under the cover of the night, namely on April 20, on the eve of the day when the entire civilized world was honoring the memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
We believe that this vile act is not a “deliberate damage to property”, as qualified by the local police, but a blatant anti-Semitic provocation.
We hope that this time the criminals will be found and punished. This is necessary for the entire Jewish community of Ukraine, as well as for all those who care about the inter-ethnic and inter-confessional peace in Ukraine.
